Multi-Pin Bases / Stems

Moores Glasswork export multi-pin bases and stems to South Africa. Multi-pin bases are required and used in different types of electron tubes, such as X-ray, cathode ray, hollow cathode lamps, photomultiplier and other specialist tubes. They may be manufactured in one of lead or kodial glass (Schott 8250), and can also be produced in a variety of configurations and sizes. Pin diameters can range from 0.5mm to 2.5mm while base diameters can range from 12mm to 75mm, with anything from four to twenty-one pins per base.

We can manufacture bases exactly to any specific configuration you might require. We  have highly competitive prices and unrivalled production times, which are facilitated by the fact that we produce all the tooling ourselves. Moores Glasswork can fulfil whatever your need; we can create and export anything from small research and development batches for the purposes of new product development all the way up to large production quantities of 25,000 p.a.
